ch 16 and 17

Mado realizes that if Patty and her try to get help from child services, the baby would be taken away. But she also realizes that it's either her, or the baby that would have to leave. The sisters are having a hard time taking care of the baby because it needs constant attention, and since they are still at the cabin, they don't have any extra help. Patty starts having a small breakdown because she thinks she shouldn't be a mother. She feels irresponsible and unable to be a good mother. Mado helps by talking to her, but they both know that without Mado's help Patty would be unable to care for the baby. I think that the sisters should seek help from doctors and child assisstance agencies because two young adults taking care of a baby seems really difficult. I also think that for the baby's health, they should get a doctor to check him out and make sure he will be healthy.
